Juddering on take up is usually down to clutch plate worn, clutch plate contaminated,bearings or clutch lever/master cylinder and very occasionally drive shaft issues (UJ's and half shaft wear) My initial money would be clutch lever as IMHO it's not the smoothest clutch take-up in the world.
